MY ART STORY

"Art is my way of listening inward. Through paint, I translate the emotional, mythic, and spiritual layers of human experiences into something tangible. I’m drawn to the feminine form as a symbol of strength, sensitivity, and transformation – a vessel through which the unseen becomes visible." – Yuliya

✨ Artist Statement

My art is a reflection of the Innerverse – the luminous, sacred space within each of us where emotion, myth, and spirit converge. My work exists at the intersection of Imaginative Realism and Cosmic Figurative art – where the human form becomes a bridge between the tangible and the transcendent.

Through the language of oil paint, I translate the unseen: quiet moments of transformation, feminine archetypes, celestial energy, and the subtle light of the soul. The female form in my work becomes a symbolic vessel – not just a body, but an embodiment of memory, intuition, and universal truth.

My background in healing and education shapes how I see – with empathy, curiosity, and reverence. I believe art has the power to connect us to what’s timeless and essential within ourselves. I paint to awaken the sacred, to offer stillness, and to celebrate the beauty of becoming – from the inside out.

🎨 Artist Biography

Yuliya Greben is a Ukrainian-born artist (b. 1971) based in Southern California, whose luminous oil paintings explore the sacred interplay between the human spirit and the cosmos within. With a background in both visual art and healthcare, Yuliya brings a rare sensitivity to her practice — blending technical mastery with deep emotional insight.

Her creative journey began as a personal search for meaning and evolved into a passionate calling. She studied at the Milan Art Institute, completing the Art Mastery Program where she developed a strong foundation in classical and contemporary techniques. Currently, she studies Mythological Realism at Conscious Creativity Academy under the mentorship of artist Christopher Remmers. Alongside her artistic education, Yuliya holds a Master’s Degree in Nurse Education — a path that continues to influence her intuitive understanding of the inner world and the human condition.

Yuliya’s work has been exhibited in prominent art fairs including ArtExpo New York, RedDot & Spectrum Miami, and Art San Diego. Her richly colored figurative oil paintings, often centered on the divine feminine, have been shown in solo and group exhibitions across California’s galleries and art centers.
