MY ART STORY

My goal in creating art is to convey a sense of depth and complexity, inviting the viewer to look beyond the surface of my work and discover the hidden emotional layers. I hope my art can inspire and empower others on their life journey.

Artist Biography

Yuliya, a native of Ukraine, was born in 1971 and currently lives and works in Southern California. Her journey into the world of art began with a strong passion, which she only recently had the opportunity to pursue. Yuliya studied art at the Milan Art Institute, where she completed the Art Mastery Program. Apart from her artistic endeavors, she also holds a Master's Degree in Nurse Education. Actively participating in several artist associations, Yuliya has established herself as a valuable member of the art community. Her artwork has been featured in various art shows and galleries across California and nationally.

Philosophy and Style

Yuliya is a contemporary figurative artist whose captivating work delves deeply into the intricate theme of human identity and self-discovery. She combines elements of abstraction and representation, exploring the interplay of color, form, and emotion primarily through the use of oil on canvas, with an emphasis on glazing as her technique of choice. Drawing rich inspiration from her own personal journey, Yuliya's art eloquently captures the universal human experiences of confronting challenges, celebrating triumphs, and navigating life's inherent ambiguities with profound insight and emotional resonance.
